Z-817 Tuner (FT-817 not included)
Z-817 Tuner Rear (FT-817 not included)

The Z-817 is the ultimate autotuner for QRP radios including the Yaesu FT-817(D). The Z-817 interfaces to the CAT port (ACC) on the back of the FT-817 radio with the provided cable. Tuning could not be simpler; one button push on the tuner is all that is needed and the Z-817 takes care of the rest. It will switch to PKT mode, transmit a carrier, tune the tuner, then restore the radio to the previous mode! 2000 memories cover 160 through 6 meters.

Of course, the Z-817 will also function as a general purpose antenna tuner with other QRP radios. Just transmit a carrier and press the tune button on the tuner. The Z-817 is powered by four AA internal Alkaline batteries (not included), so there are no additional cables required to use the Z-817. A coax jumper cable is also included for fast hook up. Latching relays are used so that power consumption is Zero when not tuning allowing a set of batteries to last about one year.

AT-7000 Antenna tuner

There are few products on this world which cannot be improved, this applies also to the fantastic new Icom IC-7000. Today a radio is mostly a computer with an HF front end. But a tuner is missing with this nice radio.

This is where LDG steps in with the AT-7000. With 2000 memories tuning is lightning fast on previously stored frequencies, on new frequencies tuning takes max. 0.1 seconds. The AT-7000 matches an SWR of up to 10:1 (3:1 on 6m) and offers a much wider tuning range than many other tuners.

Operation of the tuner is very convenient with the 'Tune' button on the front of the radio. A longer push starts tuning, when engaged a short press switches to bypass. The AT-7000 is connected to the Icom radio with a supplied control cable (35cm long) which also supplies the required power, reducing cabling requirements to a minimum. A 35cm coax cable is also included.

The tuner has a size of 17x17x4cm (WxDxH) and a weight of approx. 750g. The AT-7000 works with any Icom radio with a 4 pin tuner socket.

Z-11Pro Antenna Tuner

Bild Z-11Pro

Successor to the well known Z-11 by LDG!

The Z-11Pro uses LDG’s state-of-the-art processor-controlled Switched-L tuning network. It will match dipoles, verticals, inverted-Vs or virtually any coax-fed antenna. With an optional LDG balun, it will also match longwires or antennas fed with ladder-line.

The Z-11Pro has 8,000 memories in LDG's exclusive "3-D Memory" array, automatically storing tuning configurations for each frequency and band as you use them, for each of four antennas on the single RF port. Frequency sensing circuitry lets the Z-11Pro “know” your operating band and frequency. Whenever you transmit on or near a frequency you’ve used before, the Z-11Pro retunes from memory almost instantly (even in SSB!). Memories are retained indefinitely.

Rugged and easy-to-read LEDs indicate SWR and status. The Z-11Pro uses latching relays which retain the tuned configuration even when powered down; current draw when not tuning is effectively zero.

For maximum flexability, the user has the choice of many battery options; internal or external. There are solder pads on the PC board for the user to install a battery pack (not included) that best suits their needs. You could use 6 AAs and get several years of operation. If weight is a factor (for back packing), then three Lithium AAs will last about a year. If you just need a few months, the Z-11Pro will operate fine off a single 9V battery.

Control from the front panel is simple and straightforward; just press Tune while transmitting, and the Z-11Pro will begin a tuning cycle. The Z-11Pro will even tune while you talk on AM or SSB. Although not required, optional interfaces are available for most Icom, Kenwood, Yaesu and Alinco transceivers. With the interface, a single button-press transmits a carrier, executes a tuning cycle and returns the radio to its original power and mode.

Control cables for Icom transceivers and Yaesu FT-857/897 are included. See description of AT-100pro.

Bild LDG AT-100pro

The LDG AT-100Pro and AT-200pro are desktop tuners which cover all frequencies from 1.8 – 54 MHz, and will automatically match your antenna in no time. It features a two-position antenna switch, allowing you to switch instantly between two antennas. The AT-100Pro requires just 1 watt to operation (5W for AT-200pro), but will handle up to 125 watts, making it suitable for everything from QRP up to a typical 100 watt transceiver. The AT-200pro handles up to 200W on HF, max. 100W on 6m, minimum tuning power for the AT-200pro is 5W.
Each tuner includes over 2,000 memories for each antenna, automatically storing tuning configurations for each frequency and band as you use them. Frequency sensing circuitry lets the AT-100Pro/AT-200pro “know” your operating band and frequency. Whenever you transmit on or near a frequency you’ve used before, the tuner can retune from memory almost instantly: Tuning time is 0.2 sec for memory tune, 0.5 to 6 seconds for full tune.

Z-100 mit FT-817
Z-100 with FT-817 (not included)

The Z-100 is an automatic antenna tuner useable for 1.8 to 54 MHz, for any transceiver with 0.1 to 125 Watt power SSB/CW (100W FM, 30W on 6m).The tuner is suitable for any unsymmetrically fed antenna (i.e. Beams, Dipoles, Groundplanes etc.).If the matching range is not sufficient, a 4:1 balun (symmetrical) or a MTFT balun (unsymmetrical) can be used (not included).
The tuner has 200 memories which store settings for a once tuned frequency, when calling up the same frequency again the tuning lasts only some milliseconds. If no matching frequency is found tuning typically takes about 3 seconds.
Due to the use of latching relays the tuner requires only very little power (8 uA when stby)and is well suited for QRP/battery supplied operations. Power requirement during tuning is about 300mA. The Z-100 has two LEDs to show the current state (tuned etc.). Impedance matching range is 6 to 800 Ω, SWR from 10:1 (6m: 3:1), supply voltage required is 7 to 18V. Dimensions 140 x 135 x 38mm, weight ca. 400 gr.

AT-897

Info freight charges

Ideal for the FT-897 (but not only for this rig) the AT-897 offers a wide matching range for coaxial fed antennas. The power for the AT-897 is supplied over the CAT cable (included), a daisy-chained CAT interface on the rear of the tuner allows for other connections (i.e. PC).
To tune the AT-897 a carrier in CW, FM or AM is required, with the push of thefront side btton the tuner tries to find a match. This is greatly facilitated with the LDG-Y-ACC Tune Cable which can be directly connected to the tuner.
Due to the use of latching relays the AT-897 requires only very little power in stby (some uA). The picture shows an AT-897 mounted to the side of a FT-897 (not included).
