UM-700S
Conventional loudspeaker/microphone combination with helix cable. Hs an additional 3.5mm socket for an optional earphone on the lower side, e.g. HE-57. The strong rear clip locks in several positions and can be rotated by 360°, so the microphone can be clipped not only to the belt but also to any other vertical edge.

The Talksafe Ranger is connected to your handheld radio, suitable adaptor cables are available for most radios. Like the original Talksafe for mobile rigs the unit can be used with any Bluetooth headset.
The Talksafe Ranger unit has a built in rechargeable battery which is sufficient for 30 days stand-by or 16 hours of operation. The unit switches itself automatically off when the paired headset is turned off or if it is not in range.

Anybody who uses a radio in a car knows this: either you don't find the microphone or you get entangled in the microphone cable. Besides the traffic security this is not very comfortable.
With the new wireless hands-free set you get rid of the cables. The driver can move freely in the car and upt o 10m around it, while talking on the radio. Talksafe is also very useful for motor cycle drivers.
A small box is installed in the vehicle, which is connected to the microphone and loudspeaker jacks of the radio.
Further a Bluetooth headset is required but not included. This is a normal BT headset just like it is used for mobile telephones. According to experience a well known brand will have a better voice quality.
With Talksafe a confidential conversation becomes possible in the car because nobody else can hear the radio signal. But with the push of a button you can turn on an optional external speaker, allowing everybody in the car to listen in.
Talksafe cooperates nicely with other Bluetooth devices (even with other Talksafes), because the headset is 'paired' to the device when using it for the first time. Talksafe has an adjustable transmit timeout limit.
For most mobile radios by Kenwood(Icom/Yaesu a microphone cable is available, for other radios a universal cable (open ended, soldering required) is available.

The Blue Parrot B-250 headset offers best voice quality even in noisy environments. The professional microphone reduces background noise like in a car, wind etc. With the flexible 'goose neck' the microphone can be perfectly positioned without disturbing you. The adjustable headband and the padded ear speaker offers high comfort when wearing the headset, even for extended times.
The B-250 Headset works with all Taksafe devices, but also with all other Bluetooth devices like mobile phones, computers etc. So you stay in touch - hands-free! Max. talk time is approx. 10 hours, stand-by time is approx. 100 hours. A mains charger (230V) is included as well as a charger for 12VDC to used in a car.
