All Daiwa SWR meters can be selected to display avearge or peak power. The PEP value is found by different different charge/discharge constants and therefore is not very precise.
In contrast to that the new CN-801HP has a true, active peak envelope power (PEP) reading which is important for PSK31 and other digital modes. This function requires an external 12V DC power supply.
The CN-802HP-3 has a max. range of 3000W (compared to 2000W of the CN-802HP).

Giant SWR Meter MFJ-869.
19cm wide, 17cm high, 16cm deep and not to be ignored on your desk! The giant SWR meter by MFJ is controlled by a micro processor and shows peak or average power as wel las the reflected power. The three ranges with 20, 200 or 2000 max. are selected automatically. Maximum power is 1500W, frequency range from 1.8 to 54 MHz.
An SWR Alarm value can be selected from 1.5 to 3.0 in steps of 0.5. When reaching this SWR value (accidently) an acoustic and visual alarm goes off. Further the PTT line of the amplifier can be looped through the MFJ-869, this line is cut when high SWR happens, thus protecting your amp. Plus you have an additional relay contact (NC or NO) for other alarm actions.
The MFJ-869 giant SWR meter requires 12 to 15V supply voltage, max. current requirement is 350mA. A DC cable with suitable connector is included. Coax connectors on the rear side are PL (SO-239), the relay contact is on a 3.5mm phone jack, the amp PTT line is connected though cinch connectors. An further 9-pin serial SubD connector is used for software updates. When no HF power is seen by the SWR meter the processor switches to sleep mode to save power and prevent spurious noise on HF.

Inserted directly into the antenna feedline, measures antenna current in three calibrated ranges.
Use the RF current meters for precise measurements of antenna currents, while tuning your amplifier or tuner, calculate the impedance of your antenna feedpoint. Highly suitable for experiments with antennas or monitor changes of the antenna during operation.
Tuning for maximum antenna current usually results in highest radiated power (power rises to the square of the current). The minimum SWR is not necessarily the point where the highest antenna current is found. Or compare the efficiency of various tuners, the MFJ HF current meters identify losses quite easily.
The MFJ HF current meters are solid constructed devices for shortwave. Frequency range 1 to 30MHz, calibrated ranges for max. 0,3, 1 or 3A. 3A correspnd to 450W on a 50Ω antenna.

Ideal to check the current balance of parallel wire feeds. The large bar in the middle of the instrument clearly identifies the range of balanced current on both wires. The MFJ-854 is a very sensitive HF current meter. The sense coil snaps over any wire, radiator or cable and measures the true current flow in that conductor. This allows to measure currents in parts of an antenna, in radial or ground networks or on coaxcales. Also detects induced current in other conductors, like any household appliance and helps in identifying interferences like TVI or BCI.
Five fixed ranges from 30mA to 3A or one variable range selectable. The variable range has a minimum sensitivity of 1mA, enough to sense smallest currents like those from the MFJ SWR meters MFJ-259B or MFJ-269.

MFJ-815C
SWR/Wattmeter for 300/3000W
The MFJ-815C is an SWR and power meter with true peak value measurement, for power levels of up to 300 or 3000W, frequency range from 1.8 to 30MHz. The cross needle instrument is selectable for max. forward power of 300 or 3000W, 60 or 600W reflected power. To use the MFJ-815C the device must be supplied with external 12V DC, otherwise the peak power measurement will not work. Alternatively a 9V battery can be installed internally. The new WN-2 power meter measures and displays output power or SWR of up to four radios/antennas at the same time.
Up to four sensors for power/SWR can be connected to the device and can be installed at the point where they are rquired; sensors are available for 1.6 to 470MHz and up to max. 8KW.
The measured data is displayed on a computer connected via USB. The required software (for Windows XP or newer, 32/64 bit) is included.
When operating standalone the data is shown on the internal LC display. So a computer is not required, but of course would give a much better overview.
The WN-2 measures spectrum and envelope of the transmitted signal up to 20kHz modulation bandwidth. Intermod, splatter or overmodulation can be seen immediately. The required fast sampling rate of the transmitted signal is achieved by using a fast RISC processor in the sensor.
Additionally the WN-2 offers four analog (0 to 10V) and four digital (TTL) inputs for many measurement tasks. A programmable solenoid output offers the possibility to emergency shut-down, for example in the case of high SWR. Another option is the board to control a Yaesu rotator.
The device is shipped including one HF 2kW sensor, CD-ROM, USB cable and power supply.

This new sensor offers an additional output (BNC female). This output signal can be connected directly to an oscilloscope and allows to monitor the trnasmitted signal in realtime. This is very useful to monitor distortions etc.

SX-1100
High performance meter well superior compared to the CB gear. All equipment features 12V DC input for powering the illumination and display LED's. However, can be operated at full functionalities without the external power supply.
Those meters having two separate RF sensors (see table) may be connected simultaneously to two transceivers with the appropriate antennas. Switchover between the sensors is done by means of a switch located in the box.

MFJ-731: When making measurements with the SWR analysers MFJ-259B and MFJ-269 it can happen that strong, nearby broadcast station can influence the measurement. This is a situation where the adjustable filter MFJ-731 helps. The MFJ-731 filter can be used a notch filter between 550 and 1800kHz to reject stong medium wave (AM) stations. The the ranges 1.8-20.0, 3.5-4.0 and 7-30 MHz the MFJ-731 can act as an adjustable band pass filter. The filter needs to be aligned before each SWR measurement. Connectors: 2x PL socket.
Compact antenna and HF instrument for shortwave and up to 70cm UHF
The MFJ-266 SWR analyser covers the bands from shortwave, over 4m and FM radio up to 2m VHF and 70cm UHF. The backlit LC display shows frequency, SWR and impedance (real and imaginary parts, absolute magnitude) at the same time. Further the device can measure capacities, inductivities, field strength or frequency, as wel las act as a signal generator. This enables you to perform easily all antenna measurements as well as frequent HF measurements on cables, stubs, filters, baluns etc. Yet the MFJ-266 is easy to operate.

SWR Measurement
The SWR measurment covers a range from 1:1 to 9.9:1, impedances from 10 to 500 Ω, displayed are real- and imaginary part (not on UHF!).
Capacity and Inductivity measurement
Unknown components like capacitors and inductances can be easily found out with the MFJ-266, the result is shown in pF or µH. The measurement is done at HF frequencies, not low AF frequencies as with some cheap LC meters.
Frequency- and Field Strength Measurement
When operating the MFJ-266 as a frequency counter, the device covers frequency of up to 500MHz, the resolution can be selected between 1kHz and 100Hz. In this mode the relative field strength is also displayed, allowing comparative measurements of antennas, oscillators, transmitters etc.
Signal Generator
The MFJ-266 can be operated as a signal generator. The is usefil for measurements on filters, mixers or low-power driver stages. The output level is approx. 2Vpp.
Size, Weight, Power Supply
The size of the SWR analyser is 95 x 79 x 165mm (WxDxH), the weight is approx. 800g. The power supply is either done by 8 internal AA batteries or externally with 12 V=. Power consumption approx. 30mA in frequency counter mode, or 140mA in analyser mode. The antenna connector is N female, an adaptor to PL is included. The Grip-Dip coils MFJ-66 (see above) can be used with the MFJ-266 as well.

The MFJ-207 10-160 Meter Antenna SWR Analyzer gives you a direct readout of your antenna's SWR without the need for formulas or indirect readings. The MFJ-207 can also be used to adjust a tuner to match your antenna without the need for transmitting. The frequency coverage for the MFJ-207 is approximately from 1.75 MHz to 30 MHz in five bands.
